WELCOME TO
YOUR FRUITY EDUCATION
Before you proceed, the team at Affirmify highly recommends using a private search mode.
This CAN PROTECT YOU from ad tracking that
might target you as an LGBTQIA+ consumer.
Private Browsing also prevents parents/guardians from seeing what websites you are visiting and when you visited them. Your education and protection are what we care about here at Affirmify.

Let’s Be Straight Up
Affirmify is designed for queer and non-queer spaces alike. No matter who you are, we can all learn more about the people walking this Earth with us.
Transparency takes the forefront of this resource. We want you to know how this source is built for you, and how we hope you spend your time here.
Whether you are finding us in a time of discreetness or pride, Affirmify is just a tap away.
I’m Learning About My Family
I’m Learning About Myself
I’m Learning About My Friend
There are ways of showing up for Queer people directly and honestly.
3D Rendering of a 1/4 scale dress design using hand woven pieces draped on 1/4 mannequins.
Used as an idea for community-building workshops amongst queer crowds to connect craft with “weaving” stories across subsections of queerness.
You don’t have to have a foundation in queer history to understand that especially right now, choosing love over ignorance can save lives.

Western media outlets have summarized, sexualized, villlanized, AND capitalized off of Queer communities and the LGBTQIA+ community. Affirmify is designed to take back the narrative of queer education: for queer people, by queer people. No bullshit, no marketing, just knowledge and a place to help yourself as well as others.

Every person, including children, has a right to privacy and autonomy. Respecting a child's privacy allows them to develop a sense of self and independence. For LGBT children, this is particularly important as they navigate their own identities, relationships, and experiences.
Your child needs the ability to go on their own and learn for themselves. If you are concerned about them finding sexually explicit material, consider if it is just as easy to find the same content as a heterosexual or cisgender person. The answer is: that it’s just as easy if not easier.

Though I am writing this through a screen, I want to commend you on your willingness to consider and analyze your identity at a further stage in your life.
There are many resources and communities that can offer support and information. If you're interested, I can help you find some that might be helpful for you. This is a personal journey, and it's important to take things at your own pace. Whether you decide to explore or not, it does not change your validity in feeling this way.

Unfortunately, Affirmify is not intended to educate on the sexual wellness of LGBTQIA+ communities. We may provide links to resources that can aid in that discussion, however, we understand that we cannot prevent children from accessing Affirmify (nor would we ever want to!)
The sources provided regarding sexual wellness are curated by healthcare professionals around the world and contain a plethora of credible and feasible information.

Intersectionality recognizes that social categorizations like race, class, and gender intersect, creating unique and compounded forms of discrimination or advantage. This concept highlights that individuals with multiple marginalized identities may experience more profound and nuanced forms of injustice.
For example, there are systematic forms of oppression targeting LGBTQIA+ people; however, if someone identifies as LGBTQIA+ and they are also a person of color, that person is far more likely to be discriminated against in both homophobic and racist ways working in conjunction.
